Remembering Grandpa

This week we received some sad news. Our dear Grandpa passed away, after

a long battle with cancer. While we will surely miss him, we are glad to know that he is in

Heaven with his son Ricky.

Look at this handsome man in his senior picture. I just love the hair and what a great smile!

Grandpa loved driving truck and taking his great grand kids fishing. Grandma gave Christian his fishing hat and he has had it on ever since. Doesn't he look handsome like his grandpa?

Grandpa arranged for his funeral long before so that all the work would be done. He chose a beautiful pine Casket. The funeral was very nice and we heard some funny stories about his life. He had a great sense of humor which we all remember and an incredibly strong work ethic.

The day after the funeral we were able to meet Grandma at Pickett's Bambino. We are sure happy to have a little piece of him left in her.

One of the best ways to have a little bit of heaven in your home is to have someone you love in heaven.

We sure do love Grandpa and we know that we will be able to see him again one day.
